Department of International Trade- Cyber Security Webinar for the Nigerian Finance Sector

The Department for International Trade’s UK Defence and Security Export (UK DSE) team in partnership with CREST UK will be hosting a virtual event for Nigerian stakeholders interested in cyber security for the financial services sector. This event will discuss emerging cyber security issues for the sector and showcase aspects of the UK’s approach.

This event will feature presenters from the following companies:

  • CREST – Accreditation body providing internationally recognised cyber security certifications.
  • Cyber Capacity Unit – International advisors on National Cyber Security Strategy and Cyber Risk Management.
  • Orpheus Cyber – UK-Government accredited cyber threat intelligence company providing cyber risk rating services.
  • Protection Group International (PGI) -Leaders in cyber security services and consultancy, corporate intelligence and training.

These events will offer an opportunity to identify the latest trends in cyber security relevant to the Nigerian Finance sector and the UK’s approach to emerging threats. Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for a live Q&A session.

The second half of the event will feature pitches from selected UK companies demonstrating their latest innovations and cyber security solutions.

This event will be held on Thursday 11th February at 11.00 WAT.
