On Friday, March 5, we will be speaking with Yanmo Omorogbe, Co-Founder and COO of Bamboo for our next TC Live session.
Bamboo is a digital investment platform that provides access to buy, hold or sell stocks on the Nigerian and U.S. stock exchanges. Before co-founding Bamboo, Yanmo was an Investment Associate at the African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM).
In this session, Yanmo will answer questions including:
– What lessons has she learned from building Bamboo, particularly as a first-time entrepreneur that founders and executives will find useful?
– What factors challenged the growth of Bamboo, and how has the company addressed them?
– Is Bamboo taking any steps towards creating wealth opportunities for Africans in other countries?
– What are the company’s plans to reach older segments of African and to deepen the trust of its current market?
Attendees will also be able to ask her burning questions in an interactive session. The event is open to experienced and aspiring entrepreneurs as well as everyone else who is playing in the African technology industry.
This interview is part of our TechCabal Live virtual event series which features experienced players in Africa’s tech ecosystem sharing insights and experiences about topical issues. It is part of our work to provide insight and thoughtful guidance to the industry.
